Dr. Ayushie Lakhanpal graduated with academic and clinical honours from the New England College of Optometry. Being from Edmonton originally, she chose to return to practice Optometry in her hometown upon graduation. She continues to attend lectures and conferences to stay up-to-date on new advancements and studies in Optometry.
In the clinic, Dr. Lakhanpal enjoys chatting with and getting to know her patients. She believes that the eyes offer insight into a patient’s overall health status and appreciates the ability to educate her patient’s while providing high-quality vision and ocular health treatment options. She looks forward to providing eye care to each unique individual while having the opportunity to build long-lasting relationships with them.
Dr. Lakhanpal loves to spend her free time with her family, friends, and her pomeranian, Angel. Dr. Lakhanpal deeply values maintaining her own healthy lifestyle through diet, exercise, and mindful mental health practices such as meditation. She enjoys staying active by working out or taking part in a spin class when not at work.
