With 28 years of experience, Dr. Denis Meyer is dedicated to providing comprehensive eye care, specializing in senior care, pediatric care, and contact lenses. His passion for ocular healthcare was sparked by a medical incident involving his father, inspiring him to pursue optometry and ensure every patient receives clear, understandable guidance on their eye health. Dr. Meyer takes pride in his honest and direct approach, ensuring patient satisfaction and problem-solving with his team.
Dr. Meyer earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Calgary and his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Waterloo. He is a member of the Canadian Association of Optometrists (CAO) and the American Academy of Optometry (AAO).
Originally from Kelowna, BC, Dr. Meyer has lived in Sherwood Park for 27 years. He and his wife of 33 years, Kathleen, have two grown sons and a new daughter-in-law. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Meyer enjoys golfing, cheering on the Edmonton Oilers, and traveling to connect with family and friends. He strongly values ethics, honesty, and respecting others.
