About Dr. Ruhi Verma

Born and raised in Edmonton, Dr. Verma attended the University of Alberta before pursuing her Doctor of Optometry at the Illinois College of Optometry, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. In recognition of her academic achievements, she was inducted into the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society and the prestigious Tomb and Key Honor Society, where she also served as Vice President.

Dr. Verma is passionate about providing comprehensive, patient-centred eye care. She has a particular interest in identifying systemic health conditions through their ocular manifestations, combining her clinical knowledge with advanced diagnostic technology. She believes that optometry extends far beyond glasses and contact lenses, playing an important role in detecting health concerns, managing ocular conditions, and improving patients’ overall well-being.

Dedicated to patient education, Dr. Verma strives to ensure every patient feels informed and confident about their eye health. She values open communication and takes a collaborative approach to developing personalized treatment plans that address each patient’s individual needs and concerns.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Verma enjoys staying active, spending quality time with family and friends, exploring new cafés and restaurants, working on creative DIY projects, and travelling with her husband.
