Optometrist
Born and raised in Edmonton, Dr. Dhaliwal graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry with Cum Laude Honors and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Visual Science. In recognition of his academic achievement, he was selected to be part of the Tomb & Key Honors and Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honors Society.
Having performed thousands of eye examinations, contact lens fittings, and surgical co-management; Dr. Dhaliwal is an accomplished optometrist. He has a special interest in treating patients with complex corneal diseases, most notably keratoconus. He has extensive experience in fitting custom scleral lenses with excellent visual outcomes. His years of experience with scleral lenses have allowed him to refine his skills to achieve optimal fit and success.
Dr. Dhaliwal is also passionate about dry eye management and myopia control. He continues to invest in the latest and greatest technologies to treat chronic dry eye; for example, in-office procedures like Lipiflow, IPL, and LLLT treatments.
His patients regularly comment on his genuine listening skills and ability to provide answers in a clear and common language; he always puts the patient’s best interests above all else.
