Optometrist
Dr. Jasmine Li discovered a passion for eye care when she received her first pair of prescription glasses in grade school. She pursued her interest in optometry by completing her education at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. Her exceptional accomplishments in school granted her acceptance into the Tomb and Key Honor Society and Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society.
Dr. Li completed her residency training in Primary Care with a focus on specialty contact lenses. With this experience, she is able to specialize in myopia control with contact lenses, as well as the treatment of corneal conditions with scleral lenses. Dr. Li enjoys taking part in continuing education so she can enhance her training in her area of specialty. She attends annual Optometry conferences and meetings to be able to provide her patients with the most up-to-date care possible. She appreciates having the opportunity to treat and educate individuals on their vision and ocular health while also getting to hear the stories and experiences of each person she meets.
Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Dr. Li returned to her hometown to practice Optometry after completing her education. When she isn’t in the office, Dr. Li spends her summers playing golf and tennis, and her winters on the ski hills. While she doesn’t have any pets right now, she hopes to one day adopt a Samoyed who will be able to keep up with her outdoorsy lifestyle.
